C King Associates Ltd (CKA) is a small company specialising in the technical and procedural aspects of mine clearance and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). The company was founded by Colin King, a former British Army Bomb Disposal Officer, who has been engaged in EOD throughout the last 20 years.

His military experience included work in the Gulf during and after operation Desert Storm, and numerous deployments to the Balkans throughout the recent conflicts. He commanded mine and ordnance clearance in the Falklands, lead the first British team to train Afghan deminers, and instructed at the Defence EOD School. Colin King also spent many years as an intelligence analyst, studying foreign weapon systems and designing EOD procedures for them. This involved the analysis and breakdown of live munitions and the training of military EOD operators.

The company directors are founder members of the Institute of Munition Clearance and Search Engineers (IMCSE) and write two technical reference yearbooks for Jane's Information Group. These books, "Mines and Mine Clearance" and "Explosive Ordnance Disposal", are regarded as the industry standard by researchers, analysts, deminers and EOD technicians around the world.
